More Cornhole

Here's the latest cornhole boards created for Christine and her husband Nathan. He's a Gordon fan, and she's a Stewart fan so I wanted to please both sides of the house. Hopefully they can use them for their pool parties, and when they tailgate down at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Good Ole Mountain Dew

I saw these cool Mountain Dew aluminum bottles at Wal-Mart this weekend, so I bought one of each. If you're coming to the cook-out this weekend, you can have one. I only have four, so first come first serve!!

Jonagold Baby

Squeak my have her new favorite orange, but I've got my new favorite apple ... the Jonagold!! Jonagold is a cultivar of apple, a cross between Golden Delicious and Jonathan. They form a large sweet fruit with a thin skin. It has the tart-sweetness of the Jonathan and juicy, crispness in texture of the Goldens. Rook's Boo Boo Band-Aid

Rook had a boo boo on his knee from playing basketball (or at least that's what he tells us). I gave him a hard time, and told him he needed a Winnie the Pooh Band-Aid, and he said NO!! Actually, it was more like HELL NO!! I asked him if Abbie gave him one of her boo boo Band-Aids, as she likes to call it, would he wear it?? He said yes, and as you can see from the picture, he held up his end of the deal. You're a good man Rook!!

Katie's First Carousel Ride

Here is Katie's first ever carousel ride. It happened down at Coolidge Park in Chattanooga (we went there for the weekend). It appears she's having fun. If she's anything like her sister, she'll grow to love the Carousel ... Abbie rode it four times!!!
