Each year (for the past 10 years), my wife and I have a Christmas party the first weekend of December. Each year, we tell people not to bring anything except a new teddy bear. We then take all of the teddy bears and donate them to the local firehouse. Well, this morning I discovered that all the effort we put into the party, as well as transporting the bears to the firehouse, was all worth it. Several emergency vehicles showed up at my office building ... three fire rescue vehicles, and one ambulance to be specific. When I went to the window to check out what was going on, I noticed a teddy bear in the passenger seat of one of the fire rescue vehicles. Of course I got really excited (just ask Squeak)!! I tried to get a picture with one of our PTZ cameras, but he pulled away before I could get a good close up. Here what I did get ... you'll have to take my word that there was a teddy bear in the seat (or ask Squeak again)!!!

It was cute. Bear was excited. He jumped up and down and said, "There's a Teddy Bear in that seat. I helped put that teddy bear there, you helped put that teddy bear there. That's why I have the Christmas parties. Ooh, I have to go get a picture. Oh no, he's leaving."
LOL - it was really cute. Ooh, not to mention, Bear and I had our safety vests on because we were checking out the specks on the situation. Our foremost priority was ensuring the safety of our co-workers since we are alone without our fearless leaders who are at AS IS.
Heart-warming. :) Keep it up.
